We chose our favorite 24 waterfowl throughout the order of Anseriformes to find trends in the way of life for these creatures. On my blog, the very first post (it looks like the "last" blog because of the ordering of the blogger website) is the most primitive waterfowl and the last was post (my most recent post) is the "youngest" waterfowl in the scale of evolution. This chart to the left, is a picture that guides you in the size of many (but not all) of the waterfowl, along with many that I selected to be my favorite 24.
The IUCN website was used to determine population trends and conservation status of all species.
